JKSSB Panchayat Secretary/ VLW Posts Document Verification

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently issued a notification (No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/86/2023-03) dated 24.12.2023, releasing the result/score-sheet of the OMR Based Written Examination held on 10-12-2023 for the post of Panchayat Secretary. The candidates falling under the consideration zone are now required to undergo document verification. Here’s an overview of the essential documents and the process for verification.

1. Online Application Form(s):
Candidates are required to present a copy of their online application form(s) during the document verification process.

2. Passport Size Photographs:
Two recent passport-size color photographs are to be provided by the candidates.

3. Photo ID Proof:
An original photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, Voter Card, Pan Card, Passport, etc., is mandatory for verification.

4. Date of Birth Certificate:
Candidates need to present their Date of Birth (D.O.B) certificate, which can include a 10th Diploma/Marks card.

5. Category Certificate:
If applicable, candidates belonging to reserved categories must provide a valid category certificate.

6. Domicile Certificate:
A domicile certificate is required for verification.

7. Educational Certificates:
Candidates need to present their 10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma and Graduation Degree from a recognized University/Institution.

8. Bonafide Certificate:
Candidates who obtained their qualifications from outside the UT of J&K must submit a bonafide certificate issued by the Controller/Registrar of the respective University/Board/Institute.

9. Order of Preferences:
Candidates are required to submit their order of preferences for various items in offline mode to the document verification committees.

10. Checklist Sheet:
A checklist sheet/form (as per Annexure C) is to be submitted by candidates during their Document Verification (D.V).

The meticulous verification process aims to ensure the authenticity of the candidates and streamline the selection process. Candidates must adhere to the specified schedule and venue for document verification as indicated in Annexure-A of the notification.
